1. One of their laws forbid speaking or writing His name in case it is done incorrectly, hence G-d....as far as I know, however, he told Moses His name was, "I Am".
2. A covenant is like a promise. It is an agreement that is like David had with Jonathan. They vowed (made a covenant) to look after each other's families as long as they lived. God made a covenant with mankind signified by a rainbow that He would never destroy the earth with water again.
3. God made the covenant not with the Israelites, but with Abraham, the Father of all Israelites. He promised Abraham, (and Abraham's descendants through Sarah), all the land described in Genesis (not sure which chapter), that which is referred to as the literal Promised Land, now the land of Israel, because of Abraham's faith in Him and love for Him.
4. "Abba" is the actual term Jesus used, and it is really closer to the endearment "daddy" in our venacular. The relationship between a child and the one the child calls daddy is ultimate love and trust, because it suggests that of a very small child with his father.
I don't know if this is really homework or not, but I loved thinking about the questions and the answers. Thanks.

1) They were forbidden to speak the Name of God
2) A covenant is just basically a promise with God and His chosen ones!
3) Ok, sorry, you're gonna have to ask the Jewish people those 3 questions...these answers will be in the OT
4)Jesus just wants us to have a loving relationship with our Father so that we may not perish!!
