I like my best friend. She likes me too..but she's not the most popular person in school, and I'm one of them. I know she's say yes if I asked her out. But then there's another girl I like too. She's really pretty and and nice, but I don't know if she'd say yes...she's more popular than me! and in my school, popularity is everything. What should I do?

Forget about popularity. Take a chance with your best girl friend. If your friends can't accept your girlfriend because she is less popular then they aren't real friends anyway. You should go for her, you both like each other so give it a try. Best friends usually make the best couples. The popular girl is probably a stuck up snob that would be interested in some rich jock. Go for your best friend!

Go out with the less popular girl. If you like her and she likes you back, being popular shouldn't matter. That's alot better than if the more popular girl denies you... Then you'll be the laughing stock of the whole school

Hello, your current girlfriend may or may not have a point. Consider this: how would you feel if your current girlfriend was spending some time with an ex boyfriend? Even if you would think it is okay she does not, and part of loving a person is considering what makes them feel uncomfortable and doing the opposite. Changing and doing things that another person likes does not necessarily mean that you are changing who you are; it just means that you are taking another persons feelings, likes, or dislikes into consideration. (Normally when in a relationship such as this, this is the case) My advice: Limit your contact with your ex girlfriend. Your ex girlfriend is in your past and your current girlfriend is your present. Am not saying or suggesting you should dismiss your ex girlfriend altogether but your ex should be treated the same way you would treat another guy friend. (it should strictly just be friendship from afar; given the history you guys have with one another.) Hope things work out, and I hope this advice helped.

Popularity doesn't last long in high school and people in younger grades will grow out of it. So how do you like your best girlfriend if your saying you like another girl....
you need to re think the situation about who you really like.

wow, you dont even kno how much this situation sounds like mine right now, except im the best friend who isn't very popular... i really dont kno what to say, because either way someone might get hurt, if choose the popular one, the un popular gets hurt, if u choose the other, u might always wonder what could have been and might loose ur best friend over the awkwardness....who knows! just dont choose ur answer because of how poplar they are.... dont be afraid to be diff.

Trust me, when you graduate, being popular will mean NOTHING! Do you really want to date someone based on popularity? Don't be so superficial! If this girl is your best friend...what more could you ask for?????

Hmm that's a difficult position.
But you shouldn't chose one girl because she is more popular, go by more important things like personalitly or something.
