without showing signs of being sick?

I have read that a kitten with Panleukopenia will throw up, have diarrhea, hunch over their food or water bowl and cry in pain.

Can they show no symptoms, but die of this virus?

I know it is a serious illness, and I also know that it can be treated without death or side effects...

what I want to know if IT CAN KILL them without any signs or symptoms of having the illness.

Feline panleukopenia (commonly called feline distemper) is the cat version of canine parvovirus.

As such, it can kill just as quickly. Usually the symptoms are there, but they might not be noticed if death comes within 12 hours.

Fortunately, we don't see this disease in cats much at all anymore, due to vaccination programs.

If you have a kitten that died without showing any signs, there are many much more likely causes. A necropsy might shed some light.

yes, yes, yes... some show alot of pain and symptoms while others seem to be okay and then their not, they could still be eating okay and everything,,then it suddenly hits them, it is also an airborne illness, and most kittens do not survive, unless they get hospital treatment.... and that's not a garantee...
