I love a young man he is almouse 26 years old, and is 12 years younger than me, he always said he love me and want to marry me , so i hope I eill go to the US to meet him ,but most of my family and friends disagree, so i told him about this yestaday, He reply to me "Are you getting second thougthes about us ?you are not stupid, why are you thinking so nedatively about yourself? I almost 26 years old,?" I repeat this Q IS BECAUSE MOST OF FRIENDS HERE MISUNDERSTAND , HE IS 26 YEARS OLD AND NOT 14 YEARS OLD. I don't know how to reply him, he is seriouse?

If you two haven't met yet, I'd be very careful about traveling to another country to meet him. There's no way he, or you, can know if you are in love and should get married.
Who's paying for the trip? Are you in one of those overseas bride programs? Please be careful. I know it's possible for two people to meet online and have a wonderful relationship, but I think that is the exception and not the rule.
If he's a 26 yr old American, why isn't he dating girls his own age here in the U.S., rather than seeking 38 yr old females in another country? With no disrespect meant to you, as I am sure you are a fine person, but does this make sense to you? Also, men that age would probably want children, so starting up a relationship with a 38 yr old doesn't make sense from that perspective either.
Well, please use your head and listen to your guts. If you think he's sincere, then by all means continue to pursue your relationship, but I wouldn't think about moving to another country or getting married until you've met him and have dated him in person for a much longer time.

I don't care whether he is 26 years old or 12 years old, this guy is in US and not Singapore. So the story is totally different, if it is happen in Singapore you can always make a U-turn without cost, but in US ? then hopefully you can come back safe and sound. Wake up ! think over it wisely, don't be so silly and stupid. Just to fly there and see him, unless this earth got no man.

Have you actually meet this person, or is it someone you have chatted thru via computer for a while? I hope it is someone you have actually met face too face. It would be hard to truly know someone strictly thu on line without meeting them face to face. If you have been chatting for awhile, and both of you want to meet, then go for it!..But leave the discussion of marriage out until you truly know this person and he truly knows you.
I would think about his comment tho of saying "you are not stupid why are you having second thoughts"!..That is not stupidity to go over everything and think really hard about this//that is a smart person to do that.

this is really hard ! if i were you i would not believe him . i mean you are right . but he is 12 years younger . what if he see a better younger girl in the street . will he stay for you because of love ?? but anyway it is your choice . you can try . but at least keep your eyes open . good luck !
