a miniature bride has a dress similar to the brides gown, a flower girl should follow suit to what the bridesmaids are wearing, but whatever you think looks good is a good choice as well

I think the flower girls dress should be similar to the brides gown and the bride maids dresses should be different.

Different. It should be the same color as the bridesmaids.
Most people are creeped out by the flowergirl having an identical dress as the bride, complete with veil, etc. as alot of brides choose to do becasue that's what the bridal salons and magazines tell them they must do.

Similar enough not to look out of place, but not a little replica of the bride's dress. Maybe a shade lighter than the bridemaids' dresses in a cutesy little girl style?

I've seen both, and both are just fine. I've seen a total replica of the bride's dress, but I've also seen where she is a little version of the bridesmaids. This is totally up to you - everything will look great...

Best for it to match the bridesmaid's gowns, after all the flower girl is just a little bridesmaid!

It should be different style since a flower girl is usually a younger girl. Go ahead and stick with the color scheme though.

They should be similar but at the same time the bride should be able to stand out alot.

this is completely up to the bride. I chose to have my flower girl dresses match as close as possible to my dress.
