Atrás. I once heard a lady ask a bus driver: "¿A qué hora
vienes pa' atrás?" = What time do you come back?
There's a song I heard once that had a line:
Hace pasos adelante y unos tantos para atrás.
She takes steps forward and a few others backwards.

to go back= regresar, volver, retornar
Yo regreso a México hoy
I go back to Mexico today.
Yo quiero volver a la escuela
I want to go back to school
Debes retornar en la siguiente esquina
You should turn back in the next corner (im not sure about this example, if it sounds ok for you in English then is right, the spanish translation is correct though)
