I have this feeling sometimes. It is most likely indigestion. My dad and I suffer from this problem after eating certain types of food, especially Mexican, because of the spices and everything. Tell your mum and dad, and keep a kind of food diary and write down everything that you eat. Try and identify the food that makes you feel this way. It may be 'just' indigestion, but make sure you tell your parents. You should probably also see a doctor about it if you are sure that it is not indigestion. Indigestion usually feels like sharp pains that go around the stomach and around the heart. It is usually caused by not chewing your food, so it can't be digested. There are lollies that you can have that soothe this problem like Quick Eze and stuff. Good luck, and I am not a professional, so do not trust that every thing here is completely true. See a doctor if symptoms persist, or even if it doesn't.

Stop eating whatever makes you hurt.
I cannot drink coffee cuz I get the same symptoms. I can drink tea with no problems. Keep a food diary and write down what you eat and when you feel pain. You could be sensitive to spicy foods or acidic foods such as tomatoes or citrus, or you could have a lactose intolerance. Sometimes brassica (cucumber, broccoli, cabbage) can cause discomfort.
Then if you end up seeing the doctor you will be able to tell him what triggers the burning.
Drinking water is good. Also eating yogurt is good cuz it has critters in it that are good for your digestive system.

~~~Tea on an empty stomach,,,,tea has cafeen, could be upsetting your stomach,, eat a little something with your tea,,,cracker or toast. Spicy foods,,,well ,,, they can get the best of us. Drink a little milk before eating spicy foods. If you have a stressfull job or lifestyle,,,you may have the onset of mild ulcer. If this continues you should consult your Dr. Tums or Liquid Mylanta should help sooth your stomach untill you see your Dr.
hi there, i think what you are suffering from is acid reflux or 'heartburn'. i get it quite bad so i use a product called Gaviscon Advanced and its brilliant, you can take it regularly to prevent acid reflux or you can take it when the reflux starts to stop the pain. however i know that doctors strongly advise people to get it checked
out if the problem has suddenly started after never having suffered it before, so best to see the doc just to be on the safe side. buy the way milk is very good to drink when you have the pain as it eases it considerably but do try the Gaviscon Advanced liquid.
