Well that is a big problem, because maybe you are very hot, but like you do not know anybody you do believe you are not hot, really you have to start meeting people.
I use a very helpful trick I meet all the people I can, but I always consider that 30 % of friends are lost every year, (you get mad with somebody, people are nasty, people move) and so one, so you have to make every year 30% of new friends, or get back the ones you have lost. I is a little stressful but you are never alone

Join a civic group, a community service organization, or start doing hobbies you enjoy.
Try a HASH run! Just look for HASH runs on the internet.
Just have a good time and don't worry about meeting anyone...it will happen.

Check out the library and Border's Book Store. Go to a coffee house. Join a group or volunteer. Go to kids baseball and soccer games. (my daughter found a wonderful guy that way; however, she has 3 kids and he has 2. I don't know if you have kids)

You'll eventually run into us...we're everywhere. You will just have to assert yourself a little more...I've tried for a long time to sit on the sidelines, and guess what...nothing happens on the sidelines! Force yourself to play the game!
