I come here to learn about beliefs and to get positive answer's. I also to want to brighten other people's days. Its such a shame there is so much evil in this world today. Too much hate. Too much pain. I love all the positive answers I feel it helps me in my life. The negative responses I forget about. I like helping others if I can. I would never make someone do anything they are not comfortable with. I am also a good listener. Keep sharing.

R&S is an interesting place, and I love "new" (books, movies,TV) Entertainment with learning.
I was shocked? that people are rude here at first, but I have been here long enough to read questions that will generate hate and warn the asker, as they don't know what to expect, yet. I thought people were honestly helping others! Ha, I'm so naive, at times. I have the same intentions as you, with out the knowledge that you and others have, to really help anyone, so imagine my surprise when I say something that helps! LOL!
Also I am learning to type, and spell. (Zero mistakes!)
Also I am laughing more.
I'm an easily addicive type of person and I am hooked now. It's interesting to see you've changed your icon, new hair style? And I know a few of the other icons that are here. Hope all are well!
Peace!

Often times I come to clear up common misconceptions about my faith, (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints--Mormon). Maybe I can simply clear up a bunch right now:

1. We DO believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ (notice the NAME of our church.)
2. We do NOT worship Joseph Smith or any other person.
3. We read, study, and believe the Bible.
4. We are NOT ploygamists--any LDS member with more than one spouse is excommunicated and has been for over 110 years.
5. We celebrate holidays and do not have to keep to within our own faith.
6. We do not have private schools for our young people to attend.
7. We do NOT believe that you can work your way into heaven.

Those are the most common misconceptions people have about our faith. However speaking as one who is the world's leading expert on what I believe, I can assure you that all of these are accurate depictions of our beliefs. In spite of what your minister would falsely have you believe.

I usually stay on the page that shows "all" questions and not just questions from this section. I answer the ones directed to the "Atheist" or "Non-believers". I defend my right to believe in what I want to and others can do the same as long as they don't push their beliefs on me. Before anyone says " If you don't like it don't come to this section" Realize that I don't have to come to this section because so many of the religious people mainly Christians go into all the other sites and push their beliefs on people there too. I also don't have a problem with debating. Several people from this site have contacted me and wished to debate religion with me. Most of them gave up.

The same reasons as yours. I love to talk about God. I've learned a lot about other people beliefs. Very interesting. Although I don't agree with everyone's belief, I do respect it.

I come b/c I think we all need to help one another out. None of us are perfect alone, but when we a put together we make one heck of a group or ideal of some sort. Share some thoughts, some feelings and some past knowledge. Put out a helping hand.

to learn more about my faith!
I look for questions that are about Christians!
There are many chapters and verses in the Bible that are difficult to comprehend.
Sometimes another christian has a different take on a scripture that can give me clarity.
I also try to answer Christianity questions from non-believers.
I also like the p&s section too.
God Bless

To find out what makes people believe what they believe, to learn something new, to see a completely different point of view, to get a good laugh from those who post in a humorous fashion.
