The Maine Coon Cat.

We have two of them (a brother and sister) and they are HUGE CATS! Daniel weighs more than Gracie (He is 20+ pounds) but she has long-hair and looks much bigger. They make our "regular" sized cats (which are 1/2 their size) look like kittens!!!

I believe you are talking about domesticated cats. This I don't have the answer for. But I do have the answer for another little poll of the biggest wild cats. Its the Lion which can be 50lbs heavier then even the Tiger. This information is in "The Big Book Of Cats"

the largest breed of cat is the ragdoll cat, males can reach a weight of 20lbs or more and females 15 or more. The main coon is second biggest.

Generally speaking, I think the Maine Coon would likely win that contest hands down. They are super-kewl cats! :-)

Persians don't get anywhere near that large in bone structure/frame. Most of them nowadays are actually quite petite cats, in fact.

Ragdolls can also get quite large...but most purebred Maine Coons are larger. (Assuming ideal BCS of all participants....no overweight/obesity.)

If your talking about domestic cats I don't know. But the largest breed of cat is the Siberian Tiger.
