Jesus has already said it! Revelations Ch.17 V1-9 describes the fate of the Catholic Church as the Lord will destroy it during the tribulation. The entire Catholic religion was built on a single misinterpretation of the scriptures and as they have perverted the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Lord now holds them accountable as the mumbo jumbo they carry on with only sends countless millions to hell. They have amassed incredible wealth from their followers and exercise fear to extort from the poor.

you seem to be mistaken, while priests are not necessarily well paid, they do not take a vow of poverty. when Pope John Paul II died, he was not a wealthy man and all his items were left to the church. moneis made from his books and such went the charity and the Cultural Center in his name in DC. even diocesean priests do not get paid anywhere near the minimum wage when you factor in the hours and such.
the items at the vatican have been acquired over thousands of years.

What Jesus was all about and what the Catholic Church is all about are worlds apart. I doubt Jesus would set foot in the Vatican. He wouldn't have a clue, it is no different from any of the ancient pagan temples. A God fearing Jew couldn't be dragged into one.
