For intense workouts you should consume between .7-.9 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. Anything more will be excreted. Example: if you weigh 180 lbs you should consume between 126 grams & 162 grams. You really don't need that much. Look at a gorilla, all he eats is nuts & bananas and they are super strong (walking on his knuckles, which is similar to humans working out is what does it) not great amounts of protein.

About 1 to 1.5 grams per pound of body weight. So let's say you weight 150 pounds 150 grams to 200 grams of protein a day. And remember to drink plenty of water 8 to 10 glasses a day. I wouldn't consume any more than that in a day you will be putting way to much stress on your kidneys. So drink up. One of the best way to do it to divide your calories into 40% carbs 30% protein and 30% from health fats. Good Luck.

One gram of protein for each pound of body weight is a good measure. Yes, it is possible to have too much protein but unless you are taking a ton of protein supplements, that shouldn't be a problem. Hope this helps.

Most people when training for body building say to eat between .8 and 2.0 grams of protein per pound of body weight. The exact number would depend on your other macros and how many total cals. you are consuming. If protien falls somewhere between 20-40% of your total cals. you should be fine.

One gram per pound of body weight. Yes, you can have too much protien, but that is a really hard thing to accomplish. Stick with one gram per pound and you'll be fine.

I need to know your height and weight to figure out your protein needs. You can consume too much protein...any protein you eat has to be excreted by your kidneys, and too much would put a strain on them.
