do they stretch? like lets say i get one on my arm, but i work out and my arm muscles get bigger...would that cause the tattoo to stretch and get all disfigured?

I have 22 tattoos and the only ones that have not stretched are the ones on my neck, shoulder,foot and tops of my thighs.. I was smart enough not to do breasts, belly , butt or back of legs..I couldn't see spending all the money just for them to get disfigured..

Tattoos will stretch just like your skin does. You'd probably have to undergo a major change in your muscles before this became a problem. Go to a reputable tattoo place and ask them for their opinion - they can often structure/modify the design so that it will still look good, even if some streching occurs.

Yes they will strech as your skin expands, with the muscle that you build. As you get older, and loose muscle mass, the skin shrinks, and the tattoos, will start to show wrinkles.

yes, tattoos can stretch. if you plan on building muscle, wait till you reach your goal, and then get the tattoo

yup they do. i thank my mom for talking me out of getting a tattoo on my stomach, bcause i had 2 kids =)

Yes, tattoos stetch and become deformed with changes in body weight... and in your old age, it will be green. :(

Um yeah . . . same as if you were to get fat . . . it's on your skin and when it stretches it gets bigger doesn't it?

depends on what you get, if its a tribal arm band or barbed wire , something like that it won't matter if it streches.tou will neve notice it
