If you go to traffic school do you get your money back from the court?

Alot of us on FIXED incomes. You do the crime, you do the fine! Haven't you heard, driving is a priviledge, not a right. No one caused this but you, pay it and try harder next time.

Unless the court orders traffic school, it does not help at all in court. And no you have to pay for traffic school and they don't pay you back for the cost of the school.

Normally the school will cost more than the ticket.

Normally they will allow you to make payments on your fine.

usually you can request traffic school in lieu of the fine, you will probably still have to pay a fee for the course. I would call the courthouse and ask about your options. Many courts will put you on a payment schedule as well, but there are extra fees that come with that to.

Go to jail, then they have to feed you and when you get out you have saved some money.

I would just pay them $1.00 a month, it's better than nothing :o)

You commited the crime, so you pay for it, not the state.
