Hair question?

Question

I have sorta-of thin hair, and whenever i try to volumize it, ( i use redken volumizing shampoo ) it gets all frizzy. Is there a way to make it volumized but not so frizzy. I tried straightening, but that just weighs it down.

Also, how long does your hair grow in one year?

It takes about 6 weeks to grow about an inch...so a little less than 9 inches a year.
Have you tries a volumizing mousse? Mousse is lighter than a gel. Then to dry it, use a diffuser on med heat with the fan on low. Try doing that with your head upside down...and while drying, scrunch at the same time. I have thin hair and in between I spray with Biolage finishing spray. When you are finished...spray again. Then curl or style as needed.. Spray again when completely finished. Ta-da...good to go!

First of all, try a new shampoo and maybe experiment with mousse. Try different shampoos and techniques until you find the best one for your hair.
Also the maximum growth rate for hair is about 6 inches (15 cm) per year. *

On average, hair grows six inches per year. To volumize your hair, use a volumizing mousse and hairspray. Blowdry it with a big round brush at the roots.

Try a volumizing shampoo but then use a spray anti frizz. If it's a spray, versus a cream, it will stop your hair from frizzing up, but doesn't weight it down.

assuming that you have strait hair, i would use REALLY BIG sponge rollers. ( you can get these at any drugstore) keep them in for about 8 hours ( overnight) the put some mousee in ur hair and you will be packed with volume goodluck!♥
