What were the dreams of slaves???

Slaves in their spare time - what little of it there was, wrote stories, drew pictures, made things for their families. The slaves that were lucky enough to be kept by nice people had a lot of personal freedoms and were treated well. But no matter how well someone is treated, only absolute freedom would be the best dream...even prisoners in tough prisons have lots of things like friendship and monday night football, but it is no way the same thing.
