Not as such, it depends on how you measure the intelligence. If memory, knowledge and speed form part of the equation, then yes it is possible for "intelligence reduction", just go on a starvation diet.

hang the dj depression does not make you stupid. it is not an intellectual disorder it's an emotional disorder. no there is no such thing as intelligence reduction if you don't take drugs however, if you do take drugs it can cause permanent damage to the brain causing the person to behave in ways they normally do not. it can hinder their intelligence. i have hoped i helped.

Your IQ is a pretty stable number, although experts claim to identify at least 7 different kinds of intelligence. Behaviors like huffing and abusing alcohol WILL kill brain cells and the damage can be permanent.

There's actually school personnel who believe that girls' IQs drop when they are 13. I was told this when they tried to move my daughter from gifted and talented into other classes.
