How much do average boxer's make a year?? Do most get paid very little or a decent amount??????

if your not a big name in this sport, your lucky if you get a thousand dollars perfight, and that is very rare, theres no exact amount, prize in each fight varies

These people who have already answered this question have absolutely no idea what they are writing. $3,000 for a Journeyman Fighter? Do you know how many guys would stick around and have more of their brains scrambled for $3,000?
The truth of this matter is that there is small venues all across America putting on professional boxing cards where the fighters are making a couple hundred bucks or less. Unless a fighter has backers (Sponsors) he/she has to work to support themselves, sometimes they work two or three jobs. $3,000 !!!That's the goofiest thing I've ever heard.

on average they are lucky to get 3000 a fight, that is average for a journyman

most do not make money from boxing, they might use their personalities to get endorsments.
