I'm a natural blonde and decided to go red for a change and to see what it would look like. That was about 2wks-1mon ago and I was wanting to go back to blonde without messing my hair up. Any suggestions on going about that? I don't want to wait another month or two, for one....the roots would come in and show badly and two, I MISS BLONDE, lol. Please help! Thanks!

i am a stylist and I'm here to help you. First step away from the PC and listen..
1 there is no such thing as a hair stripper. What most folks do is use a word associated with removing paint.
2 what is commonly used to TRY to remove the color is a powdered bleach. It rarely works and is very damaging to the hair.
3 The amount of color removed varies as to the color your trying to remove. Usually it is patchy and messy. not removing all The color evenly and also tends to leave a very ugly yellow in spots.
4 If I were you I would find a salon that has a color specialist if you can. If not call around until you find a salon that carries a product called Elimin8. It is made by Rusk. It is a color remover, what it does is remove oxidized color. That means, if the color in your hair is a permanent color or a demi color it was activated by peroxide. If it is an oxidized color it will remove it evenly and with very little stress to your fine hair. Good luck!

Girl...I have done that SO many times, it isn't even funny!
Don't do it yourself. But if I can remember right, I had to BLEACH
it out. Then...put on a softer color blondle. DON'T strip your hair!
It will damage it to much...It's not good period. You can bleaching
kits at a Sally's or other Beauty Supply and buy the Bleach Kit
yourself. Ask them what else to do...to get the red out. There is
a toner( tiny packs) you can use to help take out the red when you mix it with the Bleach. You can go to a Pro. OR, you can go
Drk. Brown. It will cover the red pretty well. Also,( use the little
packs to get red out with Drk. Brn hair dye) it won't hurt it. Then
be a brunette for about a week or so, then use a strong blonde
color to put streaks in it ( if you want to be brn. & blonde). Use the
Dramatic blonde ~Hair Painting Kits out there~. Hair painting is
better cause you can control how much blonde, and where. If is
is a little orange ( which it may not be ) then re-do it Hair-paint...
Good luck to ya. It is way cheaper to do it yourself. Good Luck.

there is not something which will eliminate the colour without changing your organic colour. Semi-everlasting stains the cuticle and washes out slowly yet frequently continuously impacts the organic colour till cut back off. i could advise which you in simple terms make the superb of what you have by using utilising a non-ammonia colour gloss. including Jazzing or Sebastian Cellophane's or Matrix Prisms. They comprise no ammonia and could not regulate your organic colour. yet another selection is to apply a shampoo with crimson colour pigments in it. it is going to advance the crimson and upload shine till it grows out. there is likewise a sparkling gloss that purely provides shine. another selection is to apply the colour gloss, yet bypass opposite, an ash colour interior the gloss. it might neutralize extremely some the crimson-orange and alter right into a extra organic finding brown. yet do not attempt to lighten your hair by using Wednesday to a blond, purely a expert could have the means to do it properly.

You need to have the color stripped out. There is a special wash for it. Try calling more of an upscale salan and they will take good care of your hair, whatever you do, dont go to the real cheap places, they will mess it up! good luck!
