Tongue piercings?

Im getting my tongue pierced and I was wondering can they put a CLEAR barbell? or do i have to wait for a month or 2 to change it?

When you get it peirced they will but a Stainless Steel barbell in it then you can change it after a week and put a clear barbell (retainer) in it.. or you could use a regular tongue ring with clear balls .But you gotta let it heel first because of swelling.

This is something you probably have to ask the place that is going to pierce your tongue. by the way, i have mine done and I love it!! don't be scared, it doesn't hurt that bad. biting your tongue on accident hurts worse.
