So I broke up with my boyfriend a month ago and I still can't stop thinking about him and I still miss him. I want to know if he has a gf without sounding desperate. And if he doesn't how do I win him back?

Why not just be honest? Tell him you miss him and wonder if he has a g/f. If not, talk about what went wrong in your relationship and what you could do to make it work this time.
But remember- you broke up for a reason, so it's possible the reason is still there and despite missing him, it may not work out this time either.

xdogma has a good point. If you really do want him, even considering the less than good just tell him that you want him back. Be prepared for the possibility of no. Surely there is someone you both know that you could ask if he has a girlfriend.

Remember you broke up with him, so it's harder to get them back. But if you really want tehm back you'll do everything you can. Trust me I know! If you know who his friends are, and are cool with them you can ask them. Trust me, if you really want him back, you'll find a way.

first keep yourself busy with something fun and new. ask him directly if he has a girlfriend do not ask anyone else. if you want to win him back, do not make it so obvious, play hard to get, start slowly by flirting with him.
