It is possible that the sixth sense in some people may be the Holy Spirit.
It is also possible that the sixth sense in some people may be something much worse than the Holy Spirit.
Telling the difference is the hard part.
With love in Christ.

The sixth sense is the use of the 'third eye', which is located in the brow between the other two eyes, and slightly higher.
For full details, look into chakras. The third eye is the sixth chakra.
Once we have succeeded in opening this then we have facilities like clairvoyance and telepathy, and several others.
There are far more than 6 senses!

Some times the Holy Ghost will manifest its self like that but can also be the light of Christ which was given to every one so they may know right from wrong. That is called our conscience and we gain experience from our own actions that subconsciously give us direction. But the Holy Ghost is the revelator so if you ever had a sure feeling that could not have been know from your own experience or judgment it is almost a sure thing that it was given by the Holy Ghost.

The sixth sense is your own internal dialog, heard back, in your case, as a voice. We all have internal dialog, but differ in our preffered system. Like this: I "see" your point. I "hear" what your saying. i cant "stomch that", i "feel" you brother.
We all have different sences, as preferance. The seeing of visions, is only the hearing of voices, to another, or "sensing" spirits.
It is ourselves, communicating with ourselves.
"see" a ghost"? how real is that? a very real and common tale, is an army type, saying how they "saw" base camp, or resources, as an apperition, due to desert conditions, when in extreme conditions. The desert "mirage".
But yet, they see them? as real, as the delapidated body and mind state allows, but it is a real vision, because vision, being only interpreted by the brain, can be fooled. Cut out the visual, straight to the "visual interpretation", as if it had been seen.
So divine voices, are only are own thoughts, played back, and our sixth sence is as real as getting out the car in a dodgy area an thinking...some mysterious force is compelling me to get back in and drive off!

It could be the easter bunny too. Or maybe Santa. Or the tooth fairy. Or a leprechaun. Or Boris, the invisible goat my friend Steve had when he was 8.
When exploring the sixth sense, don't limit your imaginary friends that might be whispering in your ear to just religious ones.

God will direct recommendations of the smart and not so smart in the way of information by making use of certainty in understanding my expensive Kasey! In essence your recommendations would be His words. After the Christ Jesus regarded and died there is not any rationalization for him to speak and intervene quickly till the large day and terrible hour of Armageddon .

the problem with "the sixth sense" is that its just kinda a broad brush term that covers a whole range of things.
and many people deny that anyone possibly has it, (yeah, its illogical, coming from people to be superiorly science minded... its not worth trying to figure out their logic) but obviously for those of us that do.... it does exist.

Some call it intuition or the voice of consciousness, it may also be God speaking to you. I believe it's quite possible.

yes and no
I have felt God's presence, or Holy ghost, and felt what he said to me in my head, but I knew it was him, God.
I at times seen Ghost and Spirits and or felt presences, and felt what they either were thinking and or they were communicating at times.
At times when asleep, if they didn't wake me, My Spirit senses them in the room and know what they are doing, as if I can see them and I know what they are thinking.
But, I sometimes sense I know who they are..... God ... you would know positively.
