Do I need a GED to do this and what other areas of study would help me get started?I live in the state of Florida.

Well your sentence structure is sound and you obviously have enough experience with computers to pose your question...

I would suggest that you obtain your GED before entering into any type of office employment. As for learning customer service skills, surf the internet; you'll find loads of information.

Most insurance companies want at least a GED. The one I work for, a large company, does.

You have to pass a state test and have the required hours. Then you have to renew your license at renewal.

I live in the state of missouri and have been a csr for 2 different agencies. Check your states requirements.

this depends is you are looking at being self employed or working for a corporation. Being self employed does not require one depending on what you are specifically doing although like mentioned already, I would recommend it.
