What is a guard supposed to do if someone disrupts his watch?

He carries the rifle on the shoulder away from the tomb.
After his march across the path, he executes an about face
and moves the rifle to the outside shoulder. His gloves are moistened to prevent his losing his grip on the rifle. He has trained and studied for this honor, so that there are no mistakes. There is no one with more self discipline then these soldiers. They are not aloud to make mistakes and if they did, they would be dropped and no longer be a Guard of the Tomb.

The honor guards should not be dropping anything. If there is a disruption of a serious nature I am sure that the orders are shoot to kill.

They don't drop it. They just don't. Only those with the highest military bearing are selected for that post, so I suppose they just ignore hecklers... and if someone gets physical, I imagine they're allowed to defend themselves... like the guards outside the palace in England.... no one likes to be rifle whipped...
