I really like the colour but it feels like straw, gets so tangled when I get it wet and is so brittle.

I've dyed my hair three times in the last couple months.. My hair was exactly like you just described.. I used pantene restorative frizz control (even though I don’t, and even if you don't have frizzy hair, you have to try it!) and left in in for three or four minutes after I washed my hair. You'll feel like you've got you're hair back every time you use it..

use hot oil treatments to keep from damage and make sure u use deep conditioner and leave it in for 15 min and wash it out to keep in good shape cause if u just use shampoo that why gets so tangled cause there no conditioner and don't wash your hair every day .once a week or twice will do cause every day will bring out your hair

try a deep conditioning treatment, even at the salon or a home one. And trim every 6 weeks so your hair will grow out faster and you can get rid of the damaged hair

Try treating your hair with Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy (FAST). Many users have reported a huge improvement in the condition of their hair.

Try Coconut and Almond Oil intensive conditioner. If you live in the UK, you can find one in Boots. They really work for me. But if you're outside the UK, I guess any brand of conditioner which has got Coconut and Almond oil should help you, as well. Good luck!

Try Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner. Even if you don't blowdy or anything, it will put alot of moisture into your hair. Then use a deep conditioner. I suggest using Frizease. Very great product.

Hope this helps. =]

VO5 used to make a nice hot oil treatment. Look into something like that...I used to use it. You have to wrap your head in plastic and let it soak in, but it's amazing.
