I'm 22, and I've never had a real boyfriend. I start talking to a guy and then I just get tired or bored with them after a while. Maybe I'm too picky, I'm not sure. I don't want to keep going through this though; I feel shallow. Any advice?

Don't rush into finding a boyfriend, you are opening yourself to a lot of disappointments and hurts. Being 22 and single is not bad, you still have a whole life ahead of you and you should consider aiming for a career or achieving something in life before looking for a boyfriend. And you are not picky, you are just the type of person that knows what kind and type of guy you want, its good to have acquaintances and friends, but to get involve with someone without knowing the person just leaves you being used and abused, and you don't want that headache at this moment. Take your time and be patient, the right one will come along and you will know, your inside will tell you that this is the one and if the relationship lasted for two to three years, then you are heading somewhere. Make sure you study their motives and behavior before letting down your guard, most of them only want one thing, to satisfy their ego. So just be strong and take one day at a time, go to the right places and you will find the right person that God had ordained for you.

Did you have a dad in your life? Cause I do the same thing, Its like if they want me, Im out, but if not, I gotta know why, and I gotta convince them that they should. Not only that. I date a lot of guys, and mislead them, i never love them. I dont sleep with them, but I date them and make them think Im gonna. I think It has to do with abandonment. Even if there was a step dad, even if you were close, Always trying to please men, Not just romantically, in all ways.

Hang in there. Sooner or later a young man will come along that will grab and hold you attention. Do not lower your standards just to say you have a boyfriend!

Hey don't worry, you're young. You just haven't met the ONE, you will. I'm 31 and didn't meet my guy until 18 months ago, I'm glad I didn't give up!
