we had not taken california and texas and colorado and all of the other land that BELONGS to them , i dont think they would be consider illgeal aliens, if fact if you live in any of these states , you are acutally in their territory, they fought and won for these lands just to get it stolen!

Obviously the land doesn't belong to Mexico or it would be labeled under Mexico. It doesn't matter how we got it, it is ours now. Illegal aliens are not the ones who lived in the territory before it was ours, or they would not be illegal OR aliens. Christ! The ones people complain about are the ones that come in, without permission, over the border from Mexico. Hence the constant debate over a wall across our southern border.

War is war. How do you think China got all of its land? They did not sit there and let other countries invade them, they stood up and took what they needed for their people.
If you want to live in the past, that is up to you. But keep in mind that your family probably came here after all that stuff and you have nothing to do with it.
Don't you think the people who live in those states feel lucky to be citizens, instead of being a part of Mexico and feeling the need to come here illegally?

Okay, I agree that they fought for my Texas but they did not win. How did we get it then? They won so they just decided to give it up? Don't think so. And the Spanish had a claim on Texas more valid that of the Americans living there who were a solid majority? Not really. In the 19th century armed conflict often changed boundaries. No one is going back to early 19th century borders. The question is rather naive.

Pretty much but the territory belongs to the U.S. even it was stolen. This is one of the many political mistakes that Americans don't want to admit. They think their country doesn't harm anybody in the world and that they have achieved everything they have just because they're "plain smarter" than everyone else.

We didn't steal the land, we paid for it, along with excepting any private debt enclosed with that land. We also are regularly giving millions to Mexico on a yearly basis today, so in a sense we're still paying for it. Not to mention we're giving billions to Mexican illegals yearly... Oh, and for the record, Mexico is fully conqured land... So Mexicans killed people in order to take their country too.

"We" did not steal this land in Calif..etc. we won it out of a war I believe. That would be like giving back Mexico to Spain and the US to the British.!! Besides they need to go back, this is no their land. I think we fought with independant mexico or Spain.

what I think is that the U.S. should give back all the lands that they stole from the Native Americans back (the Original lands to none of that halfassed ****, it's the least they could do sicence they wiped out whole nations with war & disease along with a whole lot more **** that is to much 4 me to type, I am native american by the way
