This is a contradiction to the bible. It is a big issue, because it would mean animals have a choice too, and humans are not that special. It is no ordinary contradiction due to what it means. You will have some people fight about this, but most will deny it, or dodge the question.

Ahh, reminds me of my first day in my new high school years and years ago.
Some girl said she liked the comedian Ellen until she found out she was gay. She droned on and on about the bible and choices and blah blah blah.
First I asked how she could not be funny anymore because you know of her sexuality.
Then I told her that there are gay animals all over and I was pretty sure they didn't choose to be gay.
The whole class gasped at me and I was dubbed as a lesbian for the rest of the schoolyear.

I think that your meaning for "homosexual" is different for the human and the animal. In particular, whereas the human homosexual has sex exclusively with partners of the same sex, homosexual animals have sex with animals of either sex. In other words, whereas for humans you are labeling the person, for animals you are labeling the behavior.
So it appears that only animals have free choice in the matter. Therefore, maybe only animals will burn in Hell. Hmmm...

My cats exhibit this sort of behavior all the time. I choose to assume that it's natural, and probably serves some sort of purpose within their cat community.

I agree. Christian are so convinced that homosexuality is a choice that their trusted priest are raping and molesting boys in secrecy, not knowing how to deal with their OBVIOUSLY unchosen affliction. Christians will believe anything in the bible even if it causes rape and murder. Kinda sick I think!
