I most definitely have felt that God has been looking directly at me. And I know that since He is Spirit He is able to look directly at each and every one of us at the same time. It is truly wonderful!
When I read the Bible I often have the same feeling that I have when I look at a picture of people who were looking directly at the camera or the artist. It is as though the subject is looking directly at you as you move from side to side.
One of the most comforting times happened 14 years ago. It was the first Sunday after my unwanted divorce and I sat up front it church hoping that nobody would notice my tears. We had a guest minister that day and in his sermon he talked about some of the tragic things that happen in life. He referred to an automobile accident in which several young people had died a few years before. He said that the crash was not God's will it was man's and that God was the first One there and He cried. The minister went on to say that when a marriage of 25 years ends in divorce that it is man's will not God's.
I had not even told my minister that my divorce was final and I don't think I ever told him how long I had been married. He later told me that he hadn't said anything to the guest minister. It wasn't simply a coincidence. I know that God was observing my pain and wanted to comfort me and He did it marvelously!
Edit: Tommy, it isn't in the least bit arrogrant. In fact what is arrogance in man's eye is pleasing to God but what is humble to man is displeasing to God. We need His perspective to see things in the right way.

OK so we got a bunch (above) that can not or do not listen. I both talk to God, and I listen,, sometimes I ask and He answers. I assume by look that mean showing attention cuz ya know He sees all. I only notice that He sees when I get a message. One time I was in a difficult ministery God sent me to. I thought maybe God does not want me here anymore. I said Hey God if you want me to stick around give me a sign and since I do not want to miss it just have someone tell me I am appreciated. No one ever says you are appreciated if you notice. Next day at staff meeting I was just proceeding with the usual and this guy is saying something and I look up from what I was doing and he looks me right in the eye and says did you hear me he said for the second time I just wanted you to lnow I appreciate the work you are doing. I smiled and said thanx, and as he moved on I realized that was actually the third time I was told and I had been blocking it out. Another time I was in a thankless situation and I was preparing to take 10 delinquents on a vacation to Billings. Lotsa work and preparation and some one said near time to go don't forget to take a hat. I said God if you love me please just give me a hat and I want a white one with mesh on the back and some innocuous logo. I proceeded on preparing and one of the things I had to do was stop by the house of a co-worker I did not much like and when I went by he was wearing a hat just like I wanted and he said to me as I noticed it you got a hat yet?? and I said no I don't and he went and got half a box of them he had left over and handed them to me and with a smile said take these there is lots more where this comes from and he looked at me and winked. Never ever saw him wink b4 or after that a period of about 5 years.. When He looked at me and winked I knew I was looking into the face of God and that He loved me more than I could possibly understand. God does that He jumps in and out of people, and gives us what we need.

some people have no clue. I feel he has been watching me for all my life. I have become strong over the years from abuse, and alot of heart felt sorrow. I still smile and am friendly and help all people I can. I love being nice and not looking down on others and I have learned how to forgive mean sprited people. I have a feeling God is watching you too.

Im as country as you can get, and I love comfort, i like wearing my jeans, not into dresses or dressing up, and yesterday morning I kept thinking about going to Church, but didn`t want to wear a dress, and I ket thinking about the song Just as I am, and thinking yeah, thay would go over real well at a church,lol, anyways I got on the computer to see if I had any email, and the first thing I see, is a message from Belifnet, and the heading was, JUST AS I AM. now this is just yeasterday, this happens to me all the time, I MEAN ALL THE TIME.lol

Yes,but it's such a deep discussion, this is not the time nor place to fully go into it. I "looked God in face"and lived, like Jacob who became Israel.This happened when I was a full-blooded atheist persecuting christians,like Saul of Tarsus who became Paul.I experienced all the goals of christianity,and none of it was like the church or conventional christianity said it was,no christian would even believe me when I told them. As far as me and the christian church goes I'm still an atheist.

Yes I feel that he has in my life when I have had to make tough decisions in my life. I can even remember a surreal feeling when I had thought all was lost. Even as much as recently for another family member that I was at a loss at how to help this person. Not all of us feel or have the same beliefs so each individual feels it differently.

Yes I have. When I was much younger I had a abortion.And as I was laying there during the abortion it's self I know God was looking at me. Now I live with this everyday.

Yes and many times.
But I felt his presence so strong, in me, around me, happy warm feeling, and the presence I felt floating just above and to my left, as God intervene to me, and I felt him say in the moment of truth, "I am happy with you"

For the Christian - God is with us all the time. He is interested in every area of our lives, and you have have this same personal relationship with Him.
