How do guys with short hair (1/2" or so) keep it that short? How often do they trim it, and with what?

A hair trimmer is used about once every two weeks to trim it.

My dad cuts my hair every few weeks or so. We use an electric razor with specially made fittings to cut it to length.
You should be able to find them easily online.
