Now they don't have all those terrible weapons of mass destruction I can sleep easy at night. All the focus allowed our friends in North Korea to test there even bigger weapons. God bless America for making the world a safer place. Onya George.

Well due to the fact you obviously resist the capability of understanding how the world REALLY works I don't think it is even worth my time to answer your liberally biased question. But, due to the fact I am a sensible person and have a clear comprehension of war and military history I will explain this one more freakin time... all in hopes that you can possibly except an answer that is different than what Al Franken preaches.
To simplify the theory, its very similar to the term "divide and conquer." For the terrorist organizations it is very detrimental to their entire way of life if a country in which allows terrorists to thrive and assists them militarily and in funding is removed from their "grasp." This is what was done with the removal of Saddam and his band of cronies. You also have to remember that there are many religious issues with Iraq becoming a free country....
These terrorists are now what the media has so carefully renamed as "insurgents." If these insurgents were not busy trying to stop the removal of Iraq from their repetoir of countries they would have more time and more capabilities of planning strikes on the US and other countries... such as Spain and England.
Don't get all caught up in the numbers we are constantly fed day in and day out about how many troops have died in the war. I most certainly agree that it is a tragic loss whenever a member of our armed forces loses their life, but this is what we sign up for when we go into the military. No one goes into the military thinking everything is going to be a walk in the park... those that do usually don't make it through basic! Our loses between Iraq and Afghanistan are practically nothing in comparison to prior wars. If the death toll was even 1/2 of what we lost in WW2 then I would say we need to rethink what is happening but as of right now we aren't even at a 1/10th!
BTW, Your analogy of hitting a bee hive with a stick is ridiculous... it is more like we are taking a blow torch to the bee hive and removing the chance the bees will sting.
..and spongeworthy, without war there is no peace. Never has been, never will be.

The US thought that invading Iraq would keep the terrorist attacks overseas. So yeah, the US f'd over another country, fully knowing that Iraqi people and soldiers would be in danger, instead of the mainstream american civilian population.
So I guess war in Iraq would reduce terrorism here in the United States, since people are committing mass murder over there and not here.

what's terrorism? it is the act of inflicting terror to innocents by your words or behaviours. So how do you think of the harmless civilians in Bagdad experience whilst they hear gunfire, explosions etc. Is there this style of element as stable Terrorism? Is that what freedom combating is? i assume it definitely relies upon on selective interpreting ... are you a "Thou shalt not kill" style of individual, or extra of an "Eye for and eye" gun toting cowboy? i'm unable to familiarize your self with any of it particularly. All i understand that making use of hands to guard financial wealth can't be a stable element, whether you place on a white hat and holiday a white horse.

The war itself is a terrorism work, not the terrorism that bush is talking about it, it's the terrorism that bush is making it, belive me i live in iraq and we all see how the american soldiers are the ones that are making the explosions and bad situations, they are doing that to tell people there are terrorists in iraq and we have to stay there to kill them, but the true they want to stay there to get as much oil as they can.
but who will hear us.

You forget that they already hit us several times. Why do you think that by letting that go, that they won;t do more each time.
They already declared all out war on us. The only reason we are alive is because they don't have the resources and technology.
The Germans ans French were working hard to give that to them.
Now It won't be long until N Korea sells them Nukes, because NK needs the money to buy oil. just like the germans and french do.

The situation in Iraq is doing nothing but creating more terror groups.
Let's face it Some other country brings its military to your country, invades, occupies, drives tanks, Humvee and other vehicles up and down your streets. Your family and other familes are forced to live in fith and squallor, the "occupiers" take over your mansions, the White House, the Pentagon, Hollywood and Vine.
You don't have a job. No one in your family has a job. The "occupiers" bring thousands of workers from other countries to do the job you could do and for less money. In addition, the "occupiers" go around shooting and killing your neighbors, your INNOCENT neighbors.
Three years later, they are still in your back yard. People are stll being killed. Earlier when they first came there, they would knock down your doors at all hours of the day and night, rousing you and your family, looking for "insurgents' They find none, but on their way out, they take your money and food and
your pride.
Terror will remain in Iraq until the USA leaves.
Then it will come to your backyard.
It's called karma
and wizard? You are talking to yourself

Well to answer this question you have to look at more then just the war in Iraq. You have to compare the way we went into Afghanistan to the way we went into Iraq. We went into Afghanistan on the boards and attacked from the out, in. We closed the boards and wouldn't let anyone in or out of Afghanistan. When we went into Iraq we attacked Baghdad witch is in the center of the country, and we only closed the boarder only for people going out. So anyone can come into the country but no one can leave the country. So for those of you who are not fallowing, our President made it to where if the terrorists wanted to fight the Americans, then they didn't have to fly to America to attack us. They have a battle field in Iraq.

well while we are all fighting over there all the terrorist are going there to fight, its keeping them there like mice to cheese, if the allies moved home guess were the terrorists would go. i believe that we should pull out of Iraq now and move to Afghanistan and fight there, get out of the streets and into the dessert, we are fighting on there terms, lets turn this around, the more bade guys who go the more we are going to get.
