Last night I took NightTime cold meds and it triggered a horrible anxiety attack on me. I was to the point of running outside for some air like I couldnt breathe.

you took too much. even if you took the right amount... all people are different, i had to take my fiance to the emergency room the other night for that!! he felt like he couldn't breathe!!!

It may, yes. One of the side effects is excitability. This may have come to you in the form of an anxiety attack. If this happens to you again(without taking the medication, of course, don't take it again) breathe into a paper bag to re-breath your carbon dioxide. This will prevent you from hyperventilating and passing out, which can happen with anxiety attacks.

it's likely...some of them have the opposite effect on some people. Check to see if it has pseudoephedrine.
They can cause hallucinations, also. Try Tylenol PM. I haven't had a bad experience with that or just use a daytime med. It shouldn't make you wired.
Also, thera flu knocks me out cold. It tastes bad but makes you feel so much better. You won't have time to freak out.
I have panic attacks a lot

it could be... i had one yesterday... and all i was doing was sitting in a room full of painters painting the walls.... i think it was the paint...lol... i suggest you get on xannax it saved me....
