Lazarus and the Little Girl; however, Jesus was the only one never to die the physical death again!

there are incidences of other people in the Bible coming back from the dead, including Lazarus and ppl at time of Christ's death. (see other posts above) there are also a few in the old testament, summit about a body touching the bones of a prophet.

the main point is that these ppl were not RESURRECTED in the same way as Jesus was. what i mean is that this return to physical life was only temporary, these people all died again. one can imagine the scene of someone saying 'Lazarus is dead' and getting the reply, 'i remember when he did that the first time'.

Jesus' Resurrection was eternal, the others were only revived temporally.

tommy dee,

Here is God knows how many:

Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Yes, Jesus raised people from the dead. You've got Lazarus, and the one man's daughter. Of course, Jesus said she was only sleeping, but the rest of the world considered her dead.

Read the New Testament in The Holy Bible and find out for yourself. Several were raised from the dead by Jesus and the disciples.

Besides the answers here The Apostles brought several people back from the dead too which is totally believable because they are a member of the Body of Christ.
