Why can't I see them? I just reinstalled Mozilla Firefox but I can't see them. I mean, when you downlod it you get six different search engines, right? Well I don't have any of them. I have nothing there. Why is that?
I checked in the Mozilla FX folder and they're there but for some reason they're not shown when I open the browser

If all you have is the blue line with your location, and the Line with File, Edit, View etc, click View Toolbars, and click the toolbar you want to use. You need the Navigation Toolbar, and then you have your choice of Google or Yahoo, if it is installed.

They are called Browsers, not Search Engines. Besides IE, Firefox, and Chrome, other common browsers are Safari or Opera, though I am curious as to why Chrome won't work on your laptop. Each browser has it's own pros and cons, but generally Chrome or Firefox are the best way to go. FYI, search engines are sites that search the internet. Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo are examples.

I use Mozilla rather than Internet Explorer because IE crashes all the time. If it's not showing up, try uninstalling it and reinstalling. It's a great browser so don't give up on it! :-)
