The previous answer was already correct, I just want to add a detail:

"U" (must be capital) shows that this is said to somebody your are NOT INTIMATE (private) with! The english language has lost the difference between formal and informal about 250 years ago. So it might be difficult for you to understand what this is about.

If it was to somebody you are informal with, you would say "Ik mis jou" (or "je" in slang). But this example says "Ik mis U", and that is like calling somebody Sir or Madam in english.

A very formal and polite form to express love.
