Like I've posted before, I'm a guy and I wear thongs and sometimes boxer briefs. I think that thongs are the most comfortable type of underwear. They are comfortable if you pick the right type of material, size and cut.. Some can be uncomfortable.
They give excellent support, almost as if I was wearing a jock strap but a whole LOT more comfortable. I don't mean to discuss anyone, but I don't know how most guys can live with what I call “SBS” (Sticky Balls Syndrome), which is the sticky feeling that comes from sweaty scrotum touching your inner thighs...uncomfortable! With thongs, you don't suffer from SBS, as long as you buy the right thongs.
Some people feel that men shouldn't wear thongs, but I don't see why not. People put too much importance on underwear. As if the type of underwear makes you more or less of a man. Dhaaa!
By my house, there's a western gay bar. You should see some of the guys that go in there. They look all super macho tuff guys wearing their western outfits. Totally, 100%, manly dudes! And yet, they are gay! Clothes don't make a man!

As long as you look good in them and if a female bought them for you, she must think you would (look good in them). If this woman is your wife/gf maybe you could just wear them on "special occasions". But after trying them on you might like them and would want to wear them anytime. Yes, it's OK for men to wear thongs. On a good looking bod, I think they are sexy.

Them? You mean the sandals (zoris)? Or is it that you are referring to the underwear? It all depends of if you want to wear them! You are free to make a judgement based on your own tastes. Don't feel obligated to wear it just because it was a gift. Or if she wants you to wear it/them and you feel like you are up for it, I say "go for it"! If you want to break it to her gently, just be honest and say its a personal thing and you'd rather not don the said thongs.

I guess if you and your girlfriend are into thongs. Personally, I would not buy my man a pair, and do not have the desire to see him or any man in a pair. If you like it I love it, live and let live.

its by all means ok. dont feel ashamed by waht other might think, there are many thongs made for men. it has nothing to do with masculinity. if you wear women underwear then it would have something to do with your sexuality. just try it on, see how YOU feel wearing it. maybe you will feel good by pleasing a girlfriend, maybe you feel comfortable wearing it, maybe you wont, just try

The key is not who bought it for you...It's whether or not there's room for your -uh- package. If they're cut for a man's body, then they are obviously made for a guy - why not?

If it turns your wife on, go for it, but only in the privacy of your own home. I personally don't think men look good in banana hammocks.
