Both, of course. We all will die and then cross over to another place, We all should live our lives as fully as possible.

Abird in the hand is not worth two in the bush, unless you are actually talking about birds which very few hold in their hand or a bush that you would like to get your hand into. Study you analogies for for hidden meaning b4 you use them. A bird in the hand is only a good thing if you are all alone and two in a bush is not something one wants to share with a friend.

Hilarious. Sounds like you want to sound like you got a free will. Want to know how much of a slave you are? You will do nothing outside your nature. Even if you ' wanted ' to. You also won't get anything you're not worth. The darkness has it's system of economics. In their view you're a roll of toilet paper and worth about as much. You'll also find you'll work twice as hard for them as anything in your life. In the end, you lose it all. Including your toilet paper life. Now. These are the facts. Fly in the face of them, and you deserve what is presumably foreseeable you will get. Hope this helps. Sure as shooting it isn't meant to hurt. I don't even know you. What would I stand to gain?

To "die" or "lose ones life to save it" (Matt. 10:39) is a parable for giving one's life for the gospel of Christ - to totally give your "self".
If you are speaking about actual death as in the case of martyrdom, I would choose martyrdom over renouncing Christ as many have and many more will in the "last days".
Christian martyrdom has nothing to do with the taking of innocent lives or suicide.
* (I understand you are not speaking of suicide)

If someone were to put a knife to my throat, the only way to save my own life being to renounce the deity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and nothing else...I would die.
I am so persuaded that Jesus Christ is Lord, God the Son...

I say live for the cause, not die for the cause.Besides, according to the story,Christ died for our sins so no one would ever have to die for them again. One sacrifice to redeem all of mankind.

God gave us life and told us it was a sin to kill ourself.
Saying it was murder. It is also a sin to kill others.
If it came down to making me sin or die then death would be better. In other words if they said you have to be Islamic or die.
I would chose death.
