I don't think that is being a *****, i think that would be being painfully honest. That is just gross. Can you go to someone in charge and tell them of he situation. That really should not be ok, if you can smell her I am sure that other people can also. Oh, my I really feel sorry for you. That is gross. good luck and God bless

I'm sorry that you have to experience---I couldn't handle it for even a minute. I used to have to go to a computer lab and sometimes sat next to smelly homeless people so I know the feeling.
I think telling your supervisor about the problem and then coming up with a solution. Maybe he/she can look into hanging a sign that says that, in consideration for fellow computer users, you must be displaying good hygeine in order to use the lab and that violaters will be asked to leave.
You might have to run this past the "good old" ACLU first.

Don't say anything, go to a different lab. Boycott that lab for allowing her in. It is the labs responsibility to keep the quality of the patronage to a high standard and they are not doing their job.
If you must talk to her, be very tactful. I've had to tell people they smell. I tell them, "What I am going to tell you is nothing personal. Personally, I don't care, but if you are going to be here, hygiene is important, and you need to take a shower and put on deoderant before you attend.'
Keep in mind I was in a posistion of authority. Like I said, I would boycott the lab or tell the people in charge that they need to take care of it.
If no one goes to the lab, it will be shut down and the people running it will lose their jobs. While you not being there probably won't have it shut down, it does, perhaps subconsciously and nonverbally send a message.

Start out
" have you noticed that lately there has been a strong odour here? Gosh it gives me a headache. maybe it is in the carpet or floor.....i'll go get the janitor"
If the person :
people that have an extremly large stomache have a tendancy to stink, because they are not able to reach to the designated areas and cleanse them selves throughly. They need help from another person to do so. So if this person is largely built, be compassionite and move to another computer

That's a really tricky situation. If the woman is homeless, in a sense she can't help it, but if she has a house, there's no excuse for her not being clean. I'm guessing you work there, so have you spoken with your boss? If it's bothering you, odds are it's bothering others. The only other thing I can think of is if she goes to the same station everyday, sneak some air fresheners around her and liberally spray the Lysol after she leaves.

hand her some soap and a washcloth and some deoderant, they used to hand them out to all the kids on our bus, so that the ones who did stink might get the hint, when I went to school lol... I know that sounds really rude but maybe she doesnt know she stinks. a more polite way of doing this is finding out where she lives and anonymously leaving it for her in a gift bag on her doorstep or in her mailbox, but dont go up to her and make rude remarks. actually the nicer thing to do is just to stay away from her, try to avoid sitting anywhere near her at the computer lab.

i have been in this situation also maybe you should just take her aside and tell her she is really good at something (hold your breath) get to make friends with her. Then once you know her well you can drop the bomb. tell you you love her but she has a little oder problem, or you can tell the teachers that she is making you have a headache with her smell. they will keep you anonymous and tell her in case she doesn't know she smells that way

I think it is a good idea to maybe insteade of telling her she stinks. You should get her like a little gift and put like scented lotions and stuff like that. And tell her it is a gift for jsut being so nice to you all the time. Then u wont seem like a ***** and she will smell good.

You could ease into it by saying something like 'What kind of perfume do you wear?' and when she says 'none' you could say 'oh, because there's a very 'unique' odour around you...' and maybe she'll take a hint!
It's such a touchy subject to bring up without causing offense. Good luck!

well, in these situations u can't do or say anything, u'll just regret it after that, if u know her very well, just bring her a nice perfume packed with its soap and lotion as a gift, if u're not that close to her maybe tell a friend of her that she smells weird and maybe she could figure out something
