tell your dad, he might understand and then again he might kick you out, never mind, don't do that. Just keep your mind off her and when you go to your mom's house, enjoy that time and talk to your mom a lot. Then, you don't have to talk to your step mom. I know that's lame but you can try, it's not a great suggestion though...sorry.

Have you tried sitting down with her and talking about it? (Use "I feel" messages rather than "you" messages. If you go in there saying "YOU are mean. YOU never let me have any fun." and stuff like that, she's not going to be receptive to you and the conversation will end badly. But if you phrase it like, "I feel I'm not getting enough time to myself. I feel I am not being treated fairly." then she won't feel cornered and have to defend herself.)

Also keep in mind that step-moms are people, too. They get stressed out and feel bad just like everyone else. And, depite all the bad press they get, they can be reasonable. Good luck in dealing with yours.

You stepmom is jealous of you, it's that simple. She's jealous of the relationship you have with your father. She knows that she will always be second best in your Dad's affections. Be careful, she will try to drive a wedge between you and him.
Have you ever heard the expression, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer"? Do that. Be nice to her, don't give her anything to complain about. Watch her. Good luck.

Geez....you could be my son writing this (he is adopted and refers to me as his step-mom). Really, you are fighting a losing battle. Just try to get these chores done as quickly and painlessly as possible. I would sit down and talk to your dad about what is going on. Maybe he is not aware of it.

oh my goodness- you're just like cinderella!

try talking to her - tell her that you're stressed out without getting angry, or overreacting. keep your emotions in check and just be civil to her.
