I think that the impregnated teenagers who aborted their children and saved them from lives of insignifance and emotional distress are looked down upon more than unwed mothers.

Jesus wasn't illegitimate. His parents were married.
Jesus always sided with the underdog, and hates dead-beat dads the most out of all the people in the world. Raising a child without a father is the hardest thing anyone can do. It is ignoble for a father to abandon the mother of his child.
The immaculate conception is the title of Mary, not Jesus.
Joseph did not expect to marry Mary. There were several prospective husbands chosen for her by the temple-dwellers. No one thought Joseph would be picked, because everyone knew that from the age of 12 he wanted to dedicate himself, body and soul, to God's work and remain a virgin for all his life. Not too many people know this, since it's not in the bible, although it's handed down traditionally. That is why St Joseph is always portrayed holding a staff that has lilies blooming on the end of it. There is a story about that. Only iconographers know it though.
Also, God did not "lay" with Mary, but took three drops of blood from her heart and from them, made Jesus and place him in her womb. God can do this because He is God. I've had Jesus stand before me and reach into my chest. It is not the normal way of doing things, but it kind of reminds me of that Star Trek: the Next Generation episode when Q and Q decide to have a child, so they touch fingers.

First of all I do NOT believe Joseph "got a little something." Second of all you may not realize this but there are no illegitimate children only illegitimate parents and those children are baptized in the Catholic faith the same as children of married parents. We make no distinction. We actually commend the mother for giving that child life, for saying Yes to God.

If he were a moral, compassion person, he'd be appalled by the foolishness of the unwed mothers and fathers, who don't hesitate to jump into bed every chance they get to enjoy their own physical pleasure without a thought for the circumstances in which their children will be born. It doesn't take a bastard to see this for what it is: cruelty to children.
Suggestion for a new campaign: "Stop f*cking and start using your f*cking brains!"

I don't know. I think He might have a lot to say about much of our pre-conceived ideas.
Especially considering that Jesus tried to teach man how to live better, rather than become a misconstrued religion.

Funny how the meaning of a word can change in 2000 years!
It once meant a woman who hadn't been married or who hadn't had any children yet. Go figure! ; )

No basis for your assertion. Joseph wanted to put Mary away quitely but was stopped.
18 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. 19Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
Joseph was the God-chosen human step-father of Jesus Christ. There is not a great amount recorded about him in The Bible, however from everything that was written, we do know that he was a very good and righteous man. Would God have chosen any less than the very best available man for such a tremendous responsibility?
Joseph was of line of Judah (Matthew 1:3-16), a direct descendant of Abraham (Matthew 1:2) through David (Matthew 1:6). He was by trade a carpenter (Matthew 13:55) from Nazareth (in photo) in Galilee (Luke 2:4).
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

The immaculate conception was when Mary was conceived in Anne's womb, not when Jesus was conceived in Mary's womb.
It's a common mistake.
