the decision to get ure hair permed will depend on many factors. the density, the feel of ure hair. Diff pple's hair react to perms differently just like our skin does. Since ure 13, i would suggest u wait until ure 15 or older, since if u decide after a couple of yrs later that ure bored with perms, its gonna take a toll on ure hair to get the perms out. plus, all of this depends on ure hair structure. Go to a professional stylist. maybe a more high end one, since they tell u the truth about how its gonna affect ur hair. Ifthey say its ok, then itsure decision. Think if there wud be a possiblity of changing ure mind later on... and then go ahead .. Good luck!!!

first of all, it's not recommended that people get perms until they're 21 years old because hair texture is still changing. secondly, i don't think perms cause hair to fall out any faster. about 50-100 hairs fall out every day anyways. and thirdly, i don't know anything about what happened to oprah winfrey.

at 13 your scalp is tender and the oils in your hair have only just begun so perming will cause dryness and brittleness to your hair and yes you can lose your hair .

im not a hair dresser, but i got a perm when i was that age i still have lots hair
go to a hair dresser, they will be able to tell you

Um....It depends on your ethnicity and how brittle or dry you hair is. I would recommend getting your hair assessed by a proffesional beforehand.
