I've always been told to not stick anything in your ear that's smaller than your elbow because you could bust your eardrum.When I was small, my Mom turned around when my brother yelled and saw him sticking a Q-typ in his ear and the end was coming out the other ear. She and me freaked out cause we thought it had went allthe way through his head.What he really ded was stick one in one ear and started cleaning the other one. My Mom has never been the same around q-tips. If you want to clean your ears get a beeswax candle @ any health food outlet.

You could damage your hearing and it pushes the wax up against your ear drum which over time could affect your hearing!
