Keep your faith. I know at times it seems that you have no one to turn to, but never give up on God. Nothing is worth your life. you have to look out for you. Think about it this way who is going to hurt the most if you do succeed in killing yourself? ( AND ONE DAY YOU WILL SUCCEED). All its going to hurt is you, if your home life is as bad as you say. Just keep your eyes on God and he will help you through anything even when it seems that he is not there. There are so many programs and professionals that are out there that can help you please find help before its too late. You are so young and have so much life ahead of you. God Bless

Sounds like you need to move out as soon as you are done with school. It is great that you are finishing school. There are obviously things at home that are causing you to be depressed and even after you move out it will take a number of years to heal. You should try to go on anti depressants if possible to help you through the tough times. A positive thing is that our minds try to heal what it can every night during our sleep. Believe in your ability to be resilient as you always have been. With all due respect to all religions, the trauma that is caused in the brain from growing up in abusive situations cannot be healed with prayer.

i know it is not easy. i have the same problem as you, i just dont know what to tell you, because i am going through it, believe me it hurts, and sometimes it feels like you can do nothing about it but if you have survived through all of this isnt it worth to live a few more years? in the future you might encounter something that you will value. and if there is a time when you feel down and need to talk to someone that is not going to judge you i am here for you. we have to help one another. remember i have the same problem as you. so just dont do anything bad that you might regret. try to go on.

I know what you are going through. I'm 18. I deal with depression everyday, but I don't take medications anymore because I don't tolerate them well. I also used to cut. I wasn't cutting for a long time, but I spoke to my parish priest, and the nuns, and they were very understanding and accepting, and helped me. I still feel the urge to cut every time I feel overwhelmed, or sad or angry. Also try Youth Depression Support Groups, especially Christian ones, since they will incorporate prayer and faith into the process, and you will be with people your own age, who really understand you.Don't stop believing in God, even if it seems like he isn't listening to you. I'm a Catholic-Christian, and had a very difficult time because I thought God had abandoned me, but the support groups helped me alot.

Are you on any medications? you should really sit and talk to all your friends at the same time and ask them questions and see how they feel and ask for advice tell them you need someone to make feel better try not to think about anything that bothers you. Its only going to going get worse if you keep to yourself. you should maybe try another doctor!!! You need counseling and try to get a little bit of freedom and enjoy what is out there your young and need to start finding out what you like or want. See another doctor please!!

it seems that my methods arent enough for someone in such severe depression but ill tell u them anyway
i like to write in a diary to express my thoughts and emotions
sometime it makes me feel better to dance (with dance dance revolution on the gamecube)
drawing is a good way to express emotions (i do this in my dairy)
sometimes u just need to cry
maybe u need to confess everything to god and ask for forgiveness and future guidence (then ull be clean of your sins, but of coarse there is a such thing as sinning away your days of grace, that means when u ask for forgiveness for something u should try not to do it again.
maybe u could talk to your pets (everyone does it)
maybe u should sing in the shower (i saw on tv that theres some kinda thing in your head that makes you happy when u sing)
im not sure if this particular thing im about to say is good advice but maybe u shouldnt be alone with your thoughts because when im alone with my thoughts especialy at night i get all depressed
maybe u need some anti deppressant drugs
well, i hope i helped : )

Why would you repeatedly call out to a god who ignores you?
When you are ready, you will take control of your life and become your own god. If you never reach this point, your suffering will drive you to the grave. Good luck!!

you are better off than alot of us because you pray.
i am in 12th grade as well, and there are some scars that didnt happen on accident on my arm
what always stops me is think about my future, and everyone who knows me.. sometimes its because of friends i have that make me want to live and not my family.. if you cut to relieve try to not cut just to fight it like "no, its worse to not cut"
this is you final year, make it worth remembering
