John 14:15 "If you love me you will obey what I command." If you truly love him you don't have to worry about "His way'' and all the little rules, because you'll just automatically try to do the right thing. True love brings obedience.

Hi Elaine,
God's way is found clearly in the Bible. The Bible tells us that we are saved by grace- Ephesians 2:8-9 (believing in what Jesus Christ has done on the cross to pay the price for our sins) and in the very next verse God tells us that God has prepared good works for us.
And so i would say the very first step to serving God is to know God. Because you can't do what He wants from you without knowing Him personally.
If you'd like to know more please email me @: nicksterlee@yahoo.com
hope that helps,
Nickster

We were created by God to bring him glory. We serve Him by following His word and serving fellow humans.

Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me.
God's way - is to trust Him by believing that He died for You, asking forgiveness of our sins, and turning away from sin, and living a life to please Him, and to live for Him, being a disciple of Jesus, by having a personal relationship with Him, talking to Him in prayer, and reading Gods Word which is our soul food. Telling others about Him and seeking to win others for Jesus.

"Say: we believe in God and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il: Isaac, Jacob and The Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus and the Prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another, among them, and to God do we bow our will (in Islam)." Oh that's easy.
Strange...a God who could make good children as easily as bad, yet preferred to make bad ones; who made them prize their bitter life, yet stingily cut it short; mouths Golden Rules and forgiveness multiplied seventy times seven and invented Hell; who mouths morals to other people and has none himself; who frowns upon crimes yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, then tries to shuffle the responsibility for man's acts upon man, instead of honorably placing it where it belongs, upon himself; and finally with altogether divine obtuseness, invites this poor, abused slave to worship him!

We best serve Him by accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior from all our sins.
Jesus Christ Is the Only Way To Heaven!
In The Holy Bible, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. He meant “I am the only way to God the Father and to heaven”, “I am the only truth that you need to know.” and “I am the only spiritual life available to mankind.” In other words, “I am the only true and living God.”
All other so-called gods are false gods. They are not real. They do not exist. Satan creates counterfeit gods, religions and faith in them. They appear to be the genuine articles but they are false. They are phony. They are bogus. No other so-called god has the power to forgive, cleanse and remove all your sins from you to get you to heaven. They don't even claim to.
I pray you will believe this and accept the fact that you are a sinner needing to be saved from your sins (“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23, The Holy Bible.) and accept the fact that the blood Jesus Christ shed for you at Calvary is the only way you can have your sins forgiven, cleansed and removed and is the only way you can get to heaven. I pray you will acknowledge that you are a sinner and ask Jesus Christ to forgive, cleanse and remove all you sins and accept Him into your heart/life to live for Him the rest of your life. (“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12, in the Holy Bible.) That is what it means to be born again. (“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 in The Holy Bible.) Salvation is a free gift. You cannot work for it. You cannot be good enough to earn it. You must, by faith, receive it as a free gift. (“8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.”) Ephesians 2:8-9.
God loves you and it is not His will that you perish in hell.
(“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” II Peter 3:9 in The Holy bible.)
This is my prayer for you
