How long do you have for the wedding? Are you and/or your fiance members of a church you would like to get married at? If not, look into parks in your area if you'd like an outside wedding. For flowers...why don't you try a fushia rose or mum with some white lillies...and maybe tied together with a black velvet or satin ribbon? Centerpieces...maybe a candle in a storm glass thing ontop of a mirror...scatter some petals and glitter around it. You can also make your own invitations if you have the time (and it's much cheaper). You could also make your own programs...or try a local printshop. As for gifts, you don't have to get everyone the same gift. Get something each individual would like...and don't stress on prices. Find a bargain on ebay or even reduced prices in jewelry stores. Good look and best wishes!

well, since you are doing black white and fushia I would stick to the "black tie affair" approach. you can do this with out necessarily having the expensive approach. I pulled my wedding off complete with a musical trio for only $2000. I would start with invitations that you make, check out Wal-Mart, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's etc (even places like Staples, Office Max etc) they have invitations you can print on your computer. and they fit anyone budget, usually you can 50 for $20..Flowers, I would say if your trying to stay with in a budget I would do silk flowers (Michaels or Hobby Lobby) or you can check out grocery stores for Fresh Cut flowers that you can tie a simple ribbon around. They are ordered and come in fresh and cost much less then a florists. Depending on the time of year this is, check out outdoor locations, sometimes churches have a package deal with a reception hall included in the price. as far as centerpieces, I would go with simple yet elegant..fresh (or silk) cut flowers in simple vases on a mirror with some candles. If your not doing a full sit down dinner and want to make the table seem "full" you can put the favors on the table as well. Musicians, I used a musical trio consisting of a Violin, Viola, and Cello,. They played for the ceremony and the reception. It was amazing. Programs, you can do the same way as the invitations. You can purchase them from the same places as the invitations as well. Gifts, that can be anything under the sun. I know that I gave my bridesmaids jewelry that they wore in the wedding. I made sure I kept it fun so that they could wear it again in the future, and my husband got them gifts they liked..,some got sports stuff, music stuff etc. Also, if you have a "theme" for your wedding and reception you can go from there. Also..check out www.Michaels.com they have ideas covering everything your searching for as well.Congrats and good luck!!

For centerpieces, why not purchase some small and med. sized baskets at Hobby Lobby or the like, then spray paint some white, some black and tie fushia ribbons on. Small ones could be used to hold nuts or mints etc. Bigger ones silk flowers in fushia and white. You could also use a glue gun and glue the ribbons around the rim. Make 2 Lg. baskets up and put the rice packets(made from netting) in them for the guests to have.

Here are some sites that can be helpful. When I got married, I could not afford a wedding planner, so I went on-line hunting. I used a couple of these sites, the top 3 more specifically. I came up with a time line chart and set deadlines for myself and just made sure that with each thing, I had it done before or by my set deadline.

Also, depending on when the wedding is, an outdoor wedding is always nice, you can check into some of your local county parks and see what they require. If your wedding is going to be in the winter and you live where you get snow, or it will be too chilly, call around to some of the local community clubs. I got married at the local VFW, and they allowed us all the freedom to decorate and use of music. I have had a friend who got married at her local Woman's Social Hall. Some towns have an actual chapel that they use for weddings, that don't require you to be part of a church or any specific denomination.

Best of luck to you, hope this was helpful.

Get thee to a Dollar Store or Dollar Tree woman. Also helpful are craft stores, but they cost more. We used cheap clear vases with whirlygigs as centerpieces. Everyone wanted to take one home. Chocolate kisses are appropriate and cheap. I own stock in Hershey's so make sure you buy the right brand. Musicians on cheap would come from h.s. orchestra/band. Invitations - check out a scrapbooking store for ideas/materials/individuals who want to work from home. Invitations/programs can go around the same theme.
Gifts-most stores have bridal lists now and remember the guy places like Home Depot etc.
Place - most likely your cheapest place is going to be a church.
Flowers are a pain. If you are ethnic or have an ethnic store around, check them out.
Fun? Spell flower "flour" and bake away your arrangements.

We had our wedding in a parish where my husband grew up so the fee was minimal. We had our reception in Holiday Inn. Great food, good price. You don't have to worry where guests can stay. Flowers we got from a new local florist recommended by word of mouth. Stay away from well known florists because they charge too much and do not have a personal touch. Same is true with the photographer. Centerpieces was taken cared of by my florist. Cake was a gift from one of the family friends( just a plain 3 tiered white cake and decorated with real flowers by my florist again! I loved her!). We had a DJ who was the cheapest and of course, also had good recommendations. Programs we did ourselves. Give away gifts I ordered from the Phils, as well as the bridal gown, bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen's outfits. ( We saved a lot with clothes and give aways!!! )
A good web site is www.theknot.com and from my country is www.weddingsatwork.com

You said you still havent found the right place... is that for the ceremony or reception? What time of year are you planning the wedding for?

Better yet email me and I will help you as best I can that way (we probably dont live close enough to each other for me to assist you in person but I can give you plenty of assistance through emails.... working through Yahoo Answers could take too long LOL.

star gazer lilies they have fushia stripes in them and tie the stems together with black ribbon and add needles with white pearlheads in the ribbon tied stems a theme would help to decide a lot of things, or something you really like would be good for invitations, I have a fall theme, so leaves are my focal point, for center pieces at least at the head table, get vases and then put your bouquets in them when you get to the reception if you are going to have pew bows, you can take them to the reception and add them to the head table and the table set up for the cake hope this helps a little

as for your invitations i know there are several places to search but color wise i would do the white background with black single roses and have the ribbon with your names on it done in fushia and place it in the inside of the invite.flowers i would use fushia and white flowers and black ribbon as the wrap accent with white corsage pins to hold the ribbon. the rest i am not sure but this should get you started at least.

fuchsia and white centerpieces: Gerber daisies and white hydrangea.
or feathery white peonies in a glass cylinder tied w. a fuchsia ribbon- that way you can match the color exactly.
have a candy bar w/ bags and ribbon for the guest to make their own custom favor. have personalized sticker tags made for the clear bags at myownlabels.com. choose candies in your colors and display in clear glass bowls, and cylinders and square vases (avail. at WalMart) w/ scoopers for a "help-yourself" bar. very sweet.
lots of candles for sparkle. tie a black ribbon around the candles. use a black overlay on the reception tables. tie a fuchsia ribbon around each napkin to incorporate your colors.
there are so many ways to make your day special. the key is to pay attention to the details- guests WILL notice.
hope this helps :D
