It depends on where you are going in Spain. I make the trip from the northeastern United States to Spain all the time. It usually takes me about 7 hours, depending on winds, where I usually go. However, it could take you longer if you are going to the eastern parts of Spain, maybe somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 to 9 hours. On the other hand, when you come back from Spain, add about one hour onto this trip because you will most likely be facing a headwind the way back (and a tail wind on the way there).
