If the bride wants to show them, it's her wedding am i right? You should be able to show what ever you want. It's a part of you.

I will be getting married in January and I have two tattoos both of which are on my legs. First, I love my tattoos and do not want to cover them up but the dress will do that anyway. I have them and I have no intentions of removing them. It may be a little unladylike to some people but I am very proud of them and am proud to have them.

Very unladylike. And I think a LOT of people feel that way, or else bridal stores wouldn't be carrying tattoo cover-up kits for brides and bridesmaids.
As for your comment about why get them if you're embarrassed about them...haven't you ever had a moment of weakness?

Tattoos are a symbol of personal expression. I don't get how or why it would be unladylike. There's really no connection between the two.
I agree that it doesn't make any sense to cover them up since they are a part of who that person is.

Some of them don't like the way it looks in the gown.
When brides attempt to cover them up with makeup it just makes a mess and looks terrible. They're better off leaving them alone and letting them show.

For a wedding I would cover it up. I could suggest this awesome makeup artist. She does airbrushing - she is in California and in the southbay area. Her name is Diane 310-654-1146. She was awesome. For my friends wedding she airbrushed a hickey one of the girls had. SHe was so good and the makeup was beautiful - flawless.

i have tats and so does my hubby. i love them.... the more the sexier i think but if you are ashamed then it is a problem you need to figure out between the 2 of you. maybe they can be covered up long enough for the wedding and then free to view after the wedding.

this is a personal choice;
tattoos are not for me - BUT they can look quite good.
as to whether or not to cover them up - that depends on where they are on the body & what style your dress is & if they compliment the outfit or detract from it.
anyhow if you already have the tattoo - there is no point in getting it removed

Having a tattoos on a bride is alright but it makes the wedding not as innocent as it should be. That is one of reason why people are trying to cover their tattoos unconsiously
