Is it ok for a Qunice girl to have only 6 males at her side and no girls? Or are girls and guys required.

Note: I saw a quince girl with only 6 guys, and none of them wanted to be with her. No girls were present. Is this Usual?

Are Quince girls required to be virgins still today, and if they are not what color dress do they wear nowadays?

Quince girl is the Quinceanera girl of honor, the one that wears the white dress on her 15th birthday.

Yes, I have researched this but these are things happening today and recent and it doesn't answer questions like I am asking that is why questioning it.

Is it OK? Sure, why not. Is it common? No, most Quinceañera celebrations have male and female attendants, though I performed one where there were no attendants at all.

I imagine that Quinceañera celebrants are *assumed to be* virgins and, unless they volunteer information to the contrary, they can wear whatever color they'd like. I'd be suprised if a priest refused to perform the rite due to the girl's sexual status or dress color...

Dresses tend toward pink, but I've seen red, blue, white... any color she likes is typically fine, unless the parish is uptight about it. You could always consult the priest...

...or, find a ceremony minister who performs Quinces out of love and respect for the girl and her tradition who won't get uptight about silly things like virginity and dress color. Someone like me. :)

the Quinsiañera tradition is mostly a girl passing to be a young woman. Nothing more nothing less. The dress is whatever u wanted to be. Worry about when u get married, the the dress should not be white. And about the guys and the girls. Its just an exhibition dance. During the years it has developed in to many things. Usually its just the dad the mom the quinsiañera and the honor chambelan. But like I said it has evolved. Don't worry so much about it. There are no certain rules about the subject. Do what u like the best and have tons of fun. Well good luck. And PARTY!!!

Good lord, if it's a girls 15th birthday, I sure as hell hope that she's expected to be a virgin! For pete's sake, I can't believe you even asked that question!

According to the research I've done (it took 30 seconds), the court can be made up of girls, boys, or a combination of the two. Traditionally, there are 14 attendees, making the court a total of 15, along with the Quinceanera (makes sense, considering the event, I guess!).

Colors= I would go for lilac, or soft pink or white.

I have never been to one that only had the fellas nor has anyone of the people I asked. Maybe you should ask the priest or whomever is in charge.

properly a minimum of right here in Venezuela, "quinceañera" refers solely to the female who's turning 15, no longer the social gathering. So, the female could be "la quinceañera" and the social gathering's many times stated as "los quince años" or "la fiesta de quince años" (which accurately interprets as "the fifteenth year previous social gathering"). So, if Maria is popping 15 she could be "la quinceañera" and she or he could deliver invites to her social gathering that suggested "te invito a mis quince años" (I invite you to my fifteenth birthday). i can assure you this is the way it truly is in Venezuela, because of the fact it somewhat is the place I stay and spanish is my first language.
