Healthy eating keeps you alert and helps brain function. Oranges and foods rich in B vitamins give you a natural even energy boost. Fish and their oils are brain food. Carrots are good for the eyes. Water helps flush out toxins from the body and keep you hydrated. Green veggies and apples keep your bowels regular so you don't feel weighed down and tired. Never skip a meal. Eat approx. 6 small meals a day so you don't go long periods of time without a sustained energy source. It keeps your blood sugar stable and you won't crash like you do from coffee or energy drinks.

Eating healthy and taking good notes helps you stuy. Eat brain food such as fruits, vegetables. For breakfast, eating eggs is a great beginning of brain food. Remember to take good notes and highlight many things- buy a lot of fun colors!!!

Remember to study in a quiet place. If you want, listening to soft music helps, it helps me. I pause it if I need to reread something because the music is bothersome, but other than that. I do well on tests!
