The word da in tamil is a slang to call a male. almost like suffixing with a word example Yes dear.... da should not be used to call a elderly person as it is considered as dis respect one. Now a days, out of love and affection a female is called as da(suffixing with some words like tell meda etc)

Da da means grandpa, father of our father

I know it means yes in some and a term for father in others - these are probably two of the most common and they would also commonly be spoken to a baby. Then when the baby learns to talk (by copying) it would be natural to say what it often hears. Words about daddy or affirmative expressions. . . won't be long until it hears 'no' a lot and learns to use that one as well.

In French, dada is a childish word for a horse.

It's also the name of an artistic movement which lasted from 1916 to 1925, but you might know about this already, and they got the name from a dictionary, so from the other "dada".

In Japanese "da" gives words a more masculine tone. Dada has no meaning but, amusingly enough, dadakkou means a spoiled or unmanageable child.

in portuguese besides the noun "dar" which is flexed in the 3rd person "da" that means "give", "da" can also be a preposition formed by the union of the preposition "de" with the defining article "a". dada can be a name or a nickname.

Babys first words are usually ma and da, because of mom and dad. It is easier for babies to say ma because there are no teeth involved in the pronounciation. While saying da takes a little bit of effort.
it depends on the language, in latinamerica babies usually say ma' and pa'. I guess...
Because da' in spanish means give, and I dont think they would say that word first.
